How to Identify an 

Masked Hunter

Masked hunters are 9/10 of an inch in length and are a dark brown to black color. They have a slender body. Immatures will camouflage by covering themselves in dirt and debris.

Where do they come from?

Masked hunters can be found in garages, dirty closets, boiler rooms and other dirty, dusty areas. They occasionally enter bedrooms.

Where do they live?

Masked hunters can occasionally be found indoors and may bite, even if unprovoked. They are considered a beneficial predatory insect. They do NOT transmit Chagas disease.
